When relocating, you often don't have the time to look at every conceivable area listing. Most likely, you'll get tour 20 to 25, so narrow down that list first thing with these tips:

• Come into town with two lists: One should be of things you must have. The other should be for optional things you want. When a house doesn't even meet your needs, we can cross it off the list.
• Know your budget. If you are getting a mortgage, have your pre-approved amount prior to seeing listings so we can eliminate homes out of your budget.
• How long of a commute are you willing to make each day to your job and other interests? Traffic in the California, Texas, or Florida could be different than what you're currently experiencing, so let us know your desired drive-time, and we'll seek out homes within that radius.

We can send you my top recommendations prior to your arrival. Or you may already have some strong possibilities culled from your own research. While seeing listing photos on the web is great, there's nothing like visiting homes in person. Let us set up any necessary appointments with other Realtors or homeowners and map a route. We could visit up to 8 or 10 homes in a single day if we work efficiently.
